Circles 2: Spring Speaks


Here is my contribution to the Fiberactions group for this go-around:




Basically, Spring was speaking to me. This was the worst winter for me. And I am ever so glad that the wheel of the seasons has turned again and finally I, and Nature, are coming back to life!

The fabric was fused, then quilted, painted and then I added the copper, finishing it by mounting to a pre stretched canvas.

I am blown away by this beautiful piece. The layered repetition of the circles in the dye work and the stitching and copper are beautiful.
